1I had a few ideas for domain names but I wasn’t for sure if I should use them or not. I really want to make a blog anyway so I think I’ll just probably go with my name as a .com. I’m making a cooking blog and everybody else who I’ve seen with cooking blogs use their name as the domain name so I think my name would be a good idea.

2Using your name is a great idea and an excellent way to brand yourself. As long as you keep an online presence, your name will always be a good way for others to search you out.

3This is also true in the offline world. I use to race speed boats and it had our company name on it. They were not popular keywords but word of mouth spread like crazy and we got pretty popular. I guess this is not the same as the internet thing but we did have a company website and the whole branding thing worked in the same way.
