Make Money With Twitter
You should never attempt to sell any of your products using any social network, but they are a great place to build friendships. Think about hanging out with your friends…now is if fun to hang out with that one buddy of yours that keeps trying to get you to join his multi level marketing program??
Hell no! (Some of those people can be rather annoying. I use to be one of them.)
Anyway, you want to build a relationship with people and get to know them on a friendship level and that should be your only concern. Making money from them will come later.
Tips to gain plenty of followers through Giving:
- Contest – Get creative and do some sort of a contest or give away. People love receiving free stuff and this will give you a chance to put together some really great materials that you can give to them. Plus you can continue to promote the contest, which is being held on your blog, and while doing so you are able to drive a mass amount of traffic to your blg site… thus checking out who you are and what you offer.
- ReTweet their content – You can easily add a respectful comment followed by their Tweet and send it out to people. This will build a respectful character for yourself and show your ability to care for others, instead of just trying to sell your stuff.
- Engage others in conversation – Don’t be self centered and only talk about yourself, your topics, or what your selling. Show that you’re genuinely interested in what someone is talking about by responding to a tweet. Truly engage the audience who you are targeting on a social level and make friends.
Be respectful to your followers and remember not to “sell.” If they are interested in you then they will know exactly what it is you do and if they like what you’re selling then they will buy…but that’s never your intention.
Offer tips, information, advice, and engage them in their interest and you’ll build a bigger business.
