Pile-Of-Money

A few years back CPA Marketing wasn’t as popular as it’s starting to become. Back then it was much easier to market your offers because there was less competition, but now there are a whole lot more people that are cashing in on CPA.

Anyway, lets get on with the reason why you’re reading this post in the first place. You want to make money! If you’re searching for different ways to advertise your offers then the first thing you need to keep in mind is that there are obviously only two ways to do so:

  1. Paid Traffic
  2. Free Traffic

Paid Traffic

PPC

Paid traffic sources might be a bumer since it requires you to spend money, but as your alternative to free traffic sources it will definatly be the fastest way to see results. The most popular way to advertise will be Pay Per Click (PPC). The major search engines will deliver the best results with Google being the more popular choice. PPC ads are those ads at the top and right hand side of the Google search results pages. People sometimes will spend high dollar to compete for a top ranking spot but there are factors that will help bring your cost down. I don’t want to go real indepth with optimizing your PPC ads but this is something I suggest you reasearch to get the most from your ads. Using good copyrighting skills and learning what words will attract clicks is a good start. Take a look at some of the other PPC ads related to your offers and see what they are doing to gather great ideas. While we’re on this topic I want to mention that there are people that do nothing but let someone else spend all kinds of money on rewritting ads and bidding on keywords to find what works the best, then they come in with software programs that will copy your entire marketing campagine and they duplicate your work. I hate to note this in advertising but if nothing else it’s a warning to prevent this from happening to you by cloaking your links. Some people can spend a lot of money testing ads only to have someone come out of nowhere and copy all of your hard work. But please don’t be discouraged to use PPC, it’s till one of the fastest ways to see results with CPA Marketing.

PPV

Pay Per View Marketing (also known as CPV) is also an extremely successful way to advertise your offers because they are very targeted and you can pay ad cost as low 1cent per view. Some CPA Networks do not allow you to use PPV so you nedd to check before using this. PPV works by way of someone downloading something for free (ex: screen savers, a service…) and they are asked to allow for software to be placed on their computer that will show them ads based on their internet searches. The way this benefits you is that you can place ads for an extremely low cost and each time someone searches for say iphones, your ad will pop up on their screen (if your offer is for something iphone related). You can also set this up to work with specific url’s that they type in, to also work in the same way. As you can see this can be very targeted and with the cost being so low you can place hundreds of ads.

**Media Buys can also be extremely profitable but it requires a higher spending cost and you have to really know what you are doing, so I recommend just starting with PPC or PPV.

Free Traffic

The sky is pretty much the limit when it comes to free ways to drive traffic:

  • Acticles
  • Social media
  • Videos
  • Blogs
  • Websites
  • Review Sites
  • Forums
  • YahooAnswers

Free traffic will be your best investment for the long hual because it will continue to bring you money with little to no upkeep but it will be a slow process in the beginning. Plus with using free traffic you can use SEO to gain a good organic listing, if you optomize it just right you can potentially move right under the PPC ads that others have to pay for. If you already have a large fanbase online then social media and blog advertising might be to you advantage. One popular technique being used is a blog that is actually made only for advertising purposes. It’s set up with plentty of content and looks identical to a legit blog but it’d actually designed to sell you on an offer. The key to doing something like this is to keep it targeted to your relavent offer and design it to be Google friendly. You need to provide quality content just as you would on your personal blog and ad placement is very important as well (research proper landing page set up to gather ideas).

Making good videos that could possibly become viral is also a good route to go but as for what type of video will take off is another story because the popular ones seem to be so random. Article marketing is an excellent way to drive traffic because they pretty much work the same as a PPC ad but they aslo provide content. Plus with articles you can outsourse and have someone write a couple thousand articles then spread them all over the Internet.

To gain mass exposure using Paid or Free traffic you need to remember that everything works, you just need to stay consistant and do as much as you can. Also keep in mind that you absolutly have to track your results. If you are not tracking then you never know what is working really well or what could work even better with a little tweeking. It’s normal to feel scared or overwhelmed when you start out but diving in and getting started is the only real way to learn what works best for you. You can read everyone’s opinions all over the net but it comes down to your prefference and what works for you, but there has to come a point where you stop researching and start doing.
