Halloween craziness leads to insight…
So we took a break from reality this past Saturday and had a Halloween party. It was actually my wife’s birthday but she wanted to have people come over and dress up in costumes.
It was sweet! We had our close friends over for some “festivities” of all sorts. It was crazy how even though we are all grown up now we still like dressing up and being someone we are not. As little kids we would do this every day with pretending to be a dinosaur, power ranger, or whatever.
But as we grow up it is funny how even though we do not pretend to be someone else on a daily basis, we still have the urge to do so when it is “appropriate”, on Halloween.
So I encourage everyone to go put on a costume and have some fun on Halloween. Go to a party, hand out candy to trick-or-treaters, or to a family function and have a blast. I know we did!
